🌙 Ragabash of Gaia's Children: A Self-Reflection
My role as a Ragabash is to be the thorn in the side of complacency, but never the bringer of ruin. I seek the truth and the reason for things, which is why wisdom and understanding motivate me most—to truly know something is the first step to achieving peace and making things better.
The world is changing, and we cannot hide in the past. Technology is a tool to adapt and survive, provided it serves life and not the Wyrm. Our community should mirror the ideals of Gaia: inclusive, accepting of all, and seeking harmony, hence open to outsiders and diversity.
Conflict is a failure of communication. I will always prefer to negotiate and keep the peace, and as a questioner, I must question and challenge rules that no longer serve the greater good or promote injustice. My method is to expose the truth through organizing evidence, as an exposed lie loses its power.
Suffering is a call to action. I would heal or comfort the creature, and then use that moment to teach others about compassion. My purpose in a divided group is to hear all sides, listen, mediate, and suggest options. And if someone asks for help, especially refuge, the tenets of my tribe demand I offer food, shelter, and help without demanding a test of worth.
My soul is tied to the wild—Mother Earth and wild places—but my heart is focused on the flawed but redeemable humans we are sworn to protect and save. Leadership must be earned through respect, not brute force or mystical authority. And secrets that obscure truth only create fear; I would share openly for all's benefit to foster trust and unity.
If the spirits granted me power, I would use it to heal the wounded—physical wounds, spiritual wounds, and the wounds of a broken world. This is the truest path of the Children of Gaia.
